We've Got Fright Night (2011) Images!!!! Colin Farrell as a Vamp!

Special thanks go to Count Basarab who posted a link to these gems (I've been dying to see Farrell as Dandridge, haven't you??)

Here's Evil Ed -- I like Christopher Mintz Plasse, but he's got huge shoes to fill 'cause Geoffreys just made the original:

 And finally, Charlie and Amy:

Imogen Poots is gorgeous -- I hope they don't dumb-down her role.  Amy in the original wasn't the prettiest, but she sure had a personality....

There you have it, gang -- enjoy Fright Night Friday!!!

  1. Colin Farrell... heck yes! Thanks for sharing, Nicole! I keep browsing Youtube, hoping for a trailer, or behind the scenes something something. It hasn't happened yet, but hopefully soon :) Evil was fantastic in the original, those are some massive boots that kid's got to fill. But the photo looks promising, this has all the signs of a fab remake! Don't ya think?

  3. This week's issue of Entertainment Weekly has some other pics. I know you're a Fright Night fan, so I thought of you when I opened my copy of the magazine yesterday.

  4. Didn't know about this one, Nicole. I loved the original so I'll be looking out for this one. Apologies for not getting over too much. Life gets in the way sometimes. ;-)

  5. I can't get onboard, I just can't! I don't want to!

I met William Ragsdale and Chris Sarandon at a convention and they were both non plussed about the, ahem, remake! I find it somewhat disrespectful to Roddy, and all that he embodied in the character of Peter Vincent.

CHARLEY : You're Peter Vincent! The fearless vampire killer!

PETER : That is a character in a movie! That isn't even my real name!

Oh, for the first time, I will reveal what Peter Vincent's real name is :

    It's Herbert McHoolilee!

Check the first draft of the Fright Night script and the novelisation!

  6. Catherine -- that is one of the nicest things anyone has said about me ;-)

David -- no worries, I haven't been blogging much due to that very same "life" reason!

Oh Jev -- it's going to be awesome!

  7. Don't get your hopes up hon! Seriously.

And what's with Charley? He's ugly as hell! William Ragsdale was pretty lovable as Charley. That was one thing that drew you in.

Fright Night is the only vampire movie where I sympathise more with the human characters than the vampire.
